TO THE PERPETUAL SEARCH OF EXCELLENCE

MARIER DEUX UNIVERS

Our wardrobe was first built as a sports locker room. Each room has a function. The first layer (breathable Tencel® shirt, polo shirt) wicks away perspiration and keeps you dry. The second layer (sweater, jacket) is warm. The third layer (trench coat, jacket) is breathable and protects you from the elements). The correct layering of each one guarantees your well-being.

But then we work hard to imagine how to combine eco-friendly materials, sartorial assembly techniques and outdoor sports innovations. Our designers, garment makers and weavers are all committed to this quest for excellence.

NOS MATIERES PREFEREES

Obviously wool (merino) which has exceptional properties: thermo-regulating, insulating, anti-odour, soft, wrinkle-free. In winter and summer, it is a must for all our rooms. We particularly like the NZ merino label which guarantees a very high quality superfine wool, "mulesing free", traced and combed in Italy.

Tencel® (or Lyocell), a fibre derived from wood pulp, absorbs moisture in the heart of the fibre for a feeling of freshness, and dries quickly.

We do away with cotton, which is very greedy in water and pesticides, and does not evacuate humidity...

Our synthetic materials are recycled or biodegradable.

QUE DES FILS HAUT DE GAMME

We collaborate with houses that have a soul and a story to tell. Very high quality, they are Italian, French or German. We engage with them in research efforts on innovative fabrics.

They all benefit from the Oeko-Tex® label, which guarantees the safety of chemical materials throughout production and on the skin of consumers.

MADE IN EUROPE

We have chosen family workshops, known for the excellence of their know-how. They work for major luxury houses and famous brands. They are Italian for outdoor pieces, Lithuanian for knitting, Portuguese for polo shirts, Stambouliotes for shirts or trousers.

Each has its own area of expertise: laser cutting, laminating, cut and sew, knitting. Specialized in the clothing industry for years, they systematically share our social ethics and our values of eco-responsibility.
