The Safari jacket is an old military item, the official uniform of the British army in India at the end of the 19th century. Structured with epaulettes, a light belt and patch pockets, it was designed for hot climates. The Second World War and the conflicts in the Sahara gave it its current name.

We revisit its practical use with an elegant linen and merino fabric, to reinforce its “couture” DNA.

You choose whether or not to add an outer waistband and epaulettes, the size, the length of the back and sleeves, the text and the colour of the embroidery for personalisation.

Name origin The Hoggar is a mountain range in the heart of the Algerian Sahara. Rock mingles with dunes, the sweltering heat of the day with the frost of starry nights. This is the land of stories by Frison Roche, Théodore Monod and Eric Emmanuel Schmitt that have made us dream.
