We wanted a waterproof parka that was warm but not bulky, to optimise our movements. With a resolutely "sportailoring" look.
We have combined the 3 best possible materials:
- the outer fabric is a technical "2 layer" from the Italian company Marzotto. It is made of a beautiful 100% grey wool fabric and a waterproof and windproof membrane. It is weather resistant, up to 10 metres of water pressure. You will never be caught unprepared.
- l'insulator is an innovative alternative to down, developed by the Italian company Imbotex . Cloud® is made from recycled hollow polyester fibres. It has a calorific value very similar to down, but takes up less space. An ideal eco-responsible solution, very warm and space-saving.
- the inner lining is a chic and resistant Prince of Wales print, sourced by upcycling in a French house of the LVMH group. Its orange border contrasts with the dominant grey.

Origin of the name
The Salkantay is nicknamed the "magic mountain", 12th highest summit of the Peruvian Andes with 6271 m. We approached it during a trek between Cuzco and Machu Picchu, and definitely fell in love with this pure and beautiful high mountain atmosphere.
